What To Do After You Adopt the Marsh Resolution

What To Do After You Adopt the Marsh Resolution

1. Please return one copy, on your letterhead, to the John Marsh Historic Trust, P.O. Box 272, Concord, CA 94522.

2. Ask members of your governing board to carry at least one copy to a non-historical or preservation group, such as fraternal, service or civic organizations and ask that they adopt it. Please give them a copy of these "What To Do" instructions as well.

3. Send a copy of the Resolution to your local and state legislators. You may include a covering letter if you wish but it is not necessary. We find the Resolution printed on letterhead to be quite effective alone.

4. If it is your habit to provide a press release regarding actions of your group would you include a copy of the Resolution with your Press Release? If the Resolution should generate any press inquiries feel free to share the background material we have enclosed or refer inquiries to us.

5. We would love to have clippings of any news stories the resolution may generate.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PARTICIPATING IN THIS GRASS ROOTS EFFORT TO PROTECT A VERY IMPORTANT PART OF CALIFORNIA HISTORY.
